MACHIAVEL’s album « ACOUSTIC » was recorded in 2008 during the unplugged tour.The recording perfectly recreates the warm-hearted and intimate ambience of the acoustic concerts.The sound is a mix of acoustic guitars, piano, Indian organ, percussions and vocals.
The titles come from their original repertoire. They were all rearranged, some in a very different manner, giving surprising results.We hear “Washing their hands” in a jazzy arrangement, « Ronny runs » in oriental mood,« Over the hill » in a new acoustical reggae version and « Rope dancer » lead by the grand piano.This new album is also available on i-Tunes.

THE BOOK OF MARC YSAYE
For the 21 st anniversary of his radio broadcast "The Classics" on the belgian french national radio station Classic 21..http://www.classic21.be.
Marc Ysaye lets publish a book called in french "Les classiques de Marc Ysaye 21 ans de passion" telling the genesis of his radio broadcast and about his band Machiavel.
The book is published by RTBF Racine Editions; it will be for sale as from 4 th March 2009.

THE NEW LABEL OF ROLAND AND MARIO
Roland De Greef and Mario Guccio have created and manage a new label, which is called "MOONZOO music" and distributed by "Universal Music Belgium ". This label will collaborate with Belgian young bands and will support them on an artistic way. The tracks will be available online on iTunes.

MACHIAVEL AND THIERRY
Thierry Plas and Machiavel are featured in a massive new book in English entitled UNCOMMON SOUND.This 2-volume anthology written by John Engel explores all the world's guitar music through the works and times of left-handed guitar players ideal symbols of the free, rebel spirit of popular music. Thierry is in good company: Jimi Hendrix, Paul McCartney, Tony Iommi, Jimmy Cliff, Bob Geldof, Bobby Womack, Dick Dale, Tim Armstrong, Seal, Babyface, Otis Rush, Albert King, Kurt Cobain and many others.
